Delete your Liquid account
Liquid (getliquid Establishment) gives employees access to salary they have already earned. You can ask us to close your account and delete your personal data at any time. Here is how.
How to request deletion
- 1Email info@liquid.sa from your work email address, or message us on WhatsApp at +966 54 669 9662, with the subject “Delete my account”.
- 2Include the mobile number you use to sign in, so we can find your account. Do not send your PIN — we never ask for it and it is not stored on our systems.
- 3We confirm it is you by sending a code to that mobile number.
- 4We close the account and delete your personal data within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
When your request is verified, we permanently delete:
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- Your national ID number
- Your IBAN and bank account details
- Your salary, department, job title and other employment details
- Your support messages to us
What we have to keep
Saudi financial record-keeping rules require us to retain a record of money that actually moved. Where you have received an advance, we keep the amount, the date, and the fee charged, for the statutory retention period — currently ten years from the end of the financial year in which it was paid.
These retained records are stripped of the personal fields above and cannot be used to identify you or to contact you. Once the retention period ends, they are deleted too.
If you have never taken an advance, there is nothing we are required to keep and everything is deleted.
Your app PIN
The PIN you use to unlock the app is stored only on your phone and is never sent to Liquid. Uninstalling the app removes it. There is nothing for us to delete.
If your employer removes you
If your employer takes you off their roster, your account is closed automatically and no further advances can be requested. That is not the same as deletion — your personal data is retained until you ask us to delete it or the retention period ends. Use the steps above if you want it removed sooner.
Deleting some data without closing your account
Most of your details — your name, salary, IBAN and employment information — come from your employer’s records, so the fastest way to correct or remove them is through your company’s HR team. For anything else, email info@liquid.sa and tell us what you would like removed. We will do it where we are not legally required to keep it.
